Jewels of the North

I voluntarily paid for the privilege of getting up at 5am on Saturday to go and photograph inside Durham Cathedral. There is a flower festival on at the moment, but don’t think bunches of pansies and geraniums sticking out of oasis in old fashioned vases. These flowers were epic. And the cathedral looked breathtakingly beautiful.
